- Federal court system checks for federal law violations, bankruptcies, and civil suits
- Checks with all relevant state, county, and local police agencies and courts in jurisdictions where the applicant has lived, worked, attended school, or could reasonably have contact with
- Review of arrest reports, investigations, and civil court involvement
- Nationwide Sexual Offender Registry Check
- Detailed interviews with all former employers from the past ten years, including supervisors, subordinates, and Human Resource personnel
- Review of the applicant’s driving record for the past five years, including violations and accidents
- Verification of education, degrees, licenses, specialized training, and professional memberships
- Credit history investigation, including verification of financial issues, bankruptcies, judgments, and liens
- Interviews with spouse(s), significant other, family members, and personal references
- Interviews with current and former landlords, neighbors, and roommates
